Engineering Expo - Indore!!

India’s biggest trade fair on engineering and manufacturing, Engineering Expo embarked on commercial capital of Madhya Pradesh -Indore on January 7, 2011. Spread over a period of four days, the 3rd edition of Engineering Expo-Indore was held at Poddar Plaza, Near Gandhi Hall, M G Road, Indore, till January 10, 2011.

The event was jointly organised by M.P. Electric Merchants and Contractors Association ( MPEMCA) and Infomedia 18.

MPEMCA is an association of giant trading houses and state renowned contractors located mainly in Indore and surrounding regions. Indore being the business capital of Madhya Pradesh, is the best geographical location in India as it is equi- distant to every metros and business hub fro India.

Hensel participated in this Expo thanks to the initiatives our Distributor M/s.United Engineers & Co.,  Mr.Gautam Zalani and Mr.R.K Zalani (who is coincidently also the Vice-President of MPEMCA). We exhibited our innovative products at Stall no.17 and were impressed with the number of visitors and enquiries  received by us on the first day itself.

On the regional level, the exhibition has given us a good platform as we could interact with many important customers and spread awareness on quality and safety through our display.

Hensel India was represented by Mr.Subhendu Dey - Sr. Manager ( North & East) and Mr.Rishikesh Kumar, our sales engineer for Madhya Pradesh together with our active dealer Mr.Gautam Zalani who has been one of our strongest supporter in the region.

India's Napa Valley

Nashik today is one of the fastest growing cities of India and has even been identified as a tier-1 metro. The city's economy is driven chiefly by the engineering and manufacturing industry as well as the progressive agriculture in area surrounding the city. Auto majors such as Mahindra & Mahindra, BOSCH and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) such as VIP,Samsonite, CEAT etc. have their plants here and have spawned a huge network of auto component suppliers and engineering ancillary services. It is also a pharmaceutical hub with presence GlaxoSmithKline and Fem. In recent years, Nasik has also carved a niche for itself as India's "Napa Valley" and locally established wine brands such as "Sula" and "Zampa" have attained international acclaim.

There are five "Industrial Zones" in the Nashik area and its outskirts (Satpur, Ambad, Sinnar, Igatpuri and Dindori).

It was Target Ambad for Hensel this time and we decided to participate in “AIMA INDEX EXHIBITION 2011” along with our distributor M/s Sandeep Enterprises, Nashik. This exhibition is arranged by Ambad Industries Manufacturing Association. 

AMBAD INDUSTRIES & MANUFACTURERS’ ASSOCIATION popularly now known as AIMA has emerged as an active organization in the Trade and Industry in Nashik region. Having established itself as a dynamic and vibrant organization of trade and industry in Nashik, AIMA plays the role of a catalyst in the success of industries in the estate.

As the exhibition in Nashik was for the first time for Hensel India, the local dealer Mr.Sandeep Deo of Sandeep Enterprises took the initiative and with the help of our Mr.Virat Rajeghatge - Asst Manager, organised the display at the stall. Hensel stall was prominently placed in the G wing, which was dedicated for the Electricals & electronics section.

The Exhibition  was opened on 25^th Jan 2011 and ended on  30^th Jan 2011. We received many visitors from industry as well as electrical contractors, project peoples and traders for our stall.

Passion to re-Perform!!

After the success of " Operation Rajarhat", the never-say-bye attitude of our Eastern team only got a boost. Under the constant initiative, support and leadership abilities of our strong distributor Mr.Narendra Bachawat of Power electronics, and our agressive Sales Manager Mr.Arindam Dutta, another mobile road show was successfully executed by Hensel.

This time it was Urbana, one of the most discussed projects in Kolkata – “ URBANA” coming near RUBY Hospital, South Kolkata. URBANA is promoted by Bengal NRI Complex Limited which is a joint sector company between the Government of West Bengal and a consortium of developers in Kolkata. After completion of the project this will be the tallest residential towers in town.

The private promoters are Shrachi Group, Emami Group, Keventer Group Sureka Group, J.B. Group, Nahata Group and the main developer is one of the largest Engineering and Construction group of India.

Every engineers of Urbana and the Developer appreciated our construction Distribution Boards, gave assurance to use the same in future.

The team spirit could not go down even in the evening and ensured to make its presence felt at some more unique and upcoming projects in the vicinity. Response for the Assembly of  Construction sites was very positive and also we have managed to get some good reference from the projects.
